WEDDING DETAILS CHECK LIST
for local authority purposes:

Full name, address,
occupation and religion / belief.
ü
Valid passport.
ü
Birth certificates.
ü
A letter from legal
organization (such as church, lawyer, doctor or civil registrar from their
country). confirming that both parties are not married.
ü
If divorced, original
proof of the degree of absolute.
ü
Original proof if
name changed by deed poll.
ü
Under 18 years,
evidence of consent of parents is required in the form of affidavit by a
notary public.
N.B:
Prior to wedding, clients are supposed to stay in Zanzibar
for 5 working days for registrar purposes.
